goodbye october!

Hard to believe it is gone- I can't wait to see Halloween costume pictures from everyone! Please people put up your pictures!
Since Thanksgiving is no longer a favorite holiday for me, I'm going to focus on Christmas. This might be our last Christmas in Virginia and I want it to be special and beautiful. I want the kids to come home and do fun stuff that is simple like playing games, baking, singing and dancing, everything that we did when they were little. I wonder what kind of a Christmas they will want? It is possible that they won't even want to be here and that would be ok too. Sort of the way I feel about snow: it might arrive and if it does it will be welcome, or it might not happen and that has its upside too :)

figure it out

So I have this blog, a photo-sharing site, a facebook page, a myspace page, a you tube channel and several email accounts. It is not working. I want one site and one site only. I thought facebook would do the trick but too few of the people I connect with use it. Also, it is limited when it come to using it for photos in the form of albums, scrapbooks, collages etc. Maybe I need to switch to all Mac all the time. The problem there might be even worse because really the Apple universe, outside of music, is still very small. Besides I don't want to exclude friends who are wed to windows; they suffer enough already. Maybe I just need to figure out how to link and cross-reference these various sites. I guess I will start by placing a links or two on my facebook page and see if that works. Does anyone have some good ideas on this topic they are willing to share?
