I know people who blog daily; tweet hourly. How is that even possible with everything else there is to do? I don't have that much to say I guess. This is turning into a monthly thing and I guess that is just the natural progression for me. I'm going to experiment with a daily photo as a kind of meditation on December. The first one is a picture of the last geranium I picked yesterday, December 3rd (!) On the plant this blossom looked both defiant and vulnerable--the deer had devoured all its neighbors. Now on the windowsill in a west-facing window it looks flirty and dressed for the dance. I love just looking at it. Petite. Perky. Pretty. And safely enjoying a flower's ideal life; that is to bloom, fade, and be reincarnated via compost. Not to be gobbled up and shat out.
